We’re expanding aggressively across a four-state region and are adding a driven sales professional to build relationships, open new accounts, and fuel major revenue growth.

The Role

We are hiring a Territory Sales Representative to develop new business with electrical contractors, mechanical contractors, and industrial facility managers across NC, SC, TN, and VA.

This is a true outside sales role focused on:

  • Prospecting and qualifying new accounts

  • Conducting face-to-face meetings with decision-makers

  • Understanding customer needs and presenting solutions

  • Building long-term partnerships that lead to recurring revenue

Key customer segments include:

  1. Electrical contractors (service departments, operations managers, procurement)

  2. Mechanical contractors (HVAC companies needing electrical components)

  3. Industrial/manufacturing facilities (plant maintenance managers, facility engineers, electrical maintenance teams)

Success in this role: Opening 30–40 new accounts in year one and producing $400,000–$500,000 in new revenue.


What You’ll Do

Prospecting & Account Development (60%)

  • Research and identify target companies using tools like Apollo.io and ZoomInfo

  • Build lists of key decision-makers

  • Execute multi-channel outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, mailers)

  • Schedule and conduct in-person meetings

  • Perform facility walkthroughs and needs assessments

  • Pass customer requirements to customer service for quoting

  • Present pricing and solutions

  • Manage 60–90 day sales cycles

Relationship Management (25%)

  • Maintain regular contact with customers

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities

  • Attend trade shows, association meetings, and industry events

  • Represent Brilliant at networking and community functions

  • Partner closely with the customer service team to ensure a smooth customer experience

Sales Operations (15%)

  • Log all activity in CRM (calls, meetings, proposals, opportunities)

  • Collaborate with customer service on quotes and product sourcing

  • Provide weekly pipeline updates to leadership

  • Coordinate with operations, inside sales, and logistics

  • Track competitor activity and market trends

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $55,000–$65,000 (experience-based)
Commission: Uncapped commission on new accounts
First-Year OTE: $75,000–$85,000
Top Performers (Year 2+): $90,000–$110,000+

Additional Compensation:

  • Quarterly bonuses for exceeding account targets

Warehouse Assistant

Location: Burlington, NC
Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Inventory Manager / Office Manager

The Warehouse Assistant plays a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, reconditioning and testing equipment, and handling incoming inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick, prepare, and ship customer orders.

  • Recondition and test electrical equipment for quality and safety.

  • Load/unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of all shipments.

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse/logistics experience preferred.

  • Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Physically able to lift and move heavy items (up to 100 lbs).

Preferred:

  • Forklift certification.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
